United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Baho Nkabandi Project

Our project is about helping rural children from vulnerable families in undercoverege areas of Rwanda by providing well balanced meal to them and educational materials, and providing awareness on nutritional programs to eraducate the problem of mulnutrition in Rwanda. This project is set to last six months until June 2025, Now we are raising funds for project by seeking partnerships from different organisations like Imbuto Foundation Rwanda, Enabel Rwanda and Rwanda Biomedical Center(RBC)&MOH. One part of project that has started is planting fruit trees that will support the people in need.

About the Millennium Fellow

Paul Nyabyenda is a dedicated 22-year-old student at the University of Rwanda, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, where he is pursuing a degree in Dental Therapy at the School of Dentistry. Hailing from Kamonyi, Musambira, Paul has always been passionate about oral health and its impact on overall well-being. Beyond his studies, he is actively involved in boosting his community through various initiatives aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Paul aspires to become a skilled dental therapist, using his expertise to promote healthier smiles and sustainable development in Rwanda.
