Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Go (Take Action Make Difference)
Green Go is an environmental initiative launched under the Millennium Fellowship at the University of Peshawar in collaboration with Ismaili Civic, Scouts, and Guides. The project focuses on promoting sustainability through tree plantation drives, community engagement, and awareness sessions. By planting trees in public spaces and conducting workshops on environmental conservation, Green Go aims to combat climate change, improve air quality, and educate communities about the importance of preserving natural resources. The initiative empowers individuals, especially youth, to take actionable steps toward building a greener and more sustainable future.
About the Millennium Fellow
Hina Bahadur is a BS Sociology student at the University of Peshawar in Pakistan. With a deep interest in the intersection of social structures and individual agency, Hina aims to explore how local actions can influence broader societal changes. Her academic focus includes examining the socio-economic impacts of development policies in her region. After completing her degree, Hina plans to pursue a master's in social development, with a goal of contributing to sustainable community development and enhancing social justice initiatives.
