This project promotes seed saving and exchange among the university and local community.
About the Millennium Fellow
Leila Sujanani is an ecology major at the University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida, USA, with minors in Mandarin Chinese and GIS. She is passionate about global environmental issues and aims to leverage her scientific background to shape international environmental policy. Although a Florida native, Leila is drawn to the icy landscapes of the Arctic, where she plans to focus her research on glaciers as environmental models for understanding climate change. After pursuing graduate studies, she plans to work as a diplomat or with an international non-profit to address pressing global challenges, bridging the gap between science and policy.
