" "Safety is a basic need for humans to flourish. Without safety, people live in fear, preventing them from becoming their ideal selves. Hence, the Millennium Fellowship strives to promote peace and justice throughout different communities. By avoiding dangerous situations, people can achieve self-actualization and support others in need." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Students Against Trafficking

Students Against Trafficking (SAT) is a student organization at the University of South Florida (USF) that aims to combat human trafficking activities. This was achieved by educating college students on the dangers of human trafficking, signs that indicate trafficking victims, and ways to report these illicit activities. In addition, SAT promotes anti-trafficking movements that promote a sense of safety on-campus, which reassures potential victims of their safety and encourages them to speak out. In addition to on-campus events, SAT also collaborated with USF's College of Public Health, local anti-trafficking organizations, and even University of Michigan’s College of Nursing, where experts were able to provide valuable insights on the subject of human trafficking. Through social media, we brought our campaigns online to reach an even larger audience.
