Millennium Fellowship Project: Soles for Success
Soles for Success is a project dedicated to providing educational materials, including shoes, as well as menstrual hygiene education. It aims to support students' well-being, enhance learning experiences, and promote overall empowerment.
About the Millennium Fellow
Janet Owusu is an undergraduate student at USIU-Africa, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Born in Ghana, Janet is currently studying in Kenya, driven by her passion for public health and data-driven solutions to health challenges.
Throughout her academic journey, Janet has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication. She has served as a Transformative Leadership Training group secretary and course group leader, roles in which she has honed her organizational and collaborative skills. Her commitment to making a tangible impact is evident in her plans to implement a community project to address local health issues.
Janet is deeply passionate about advancing healthcare through research and is committed to leveraging her expertise to improve health outcomes in her community and beyond. Her achievements reflect her persistent dedication to her field and her desire to contribute meaningfully to public health.
