" "I have always been keenly aware of the sanctity of human life and nature. As stewards of the earth, it is our job to protect, foster, and improve the world around us. That is why I am so excited to be a Millennium Fellow. I cannot wait to use this opportunity to further support marginalized communities and take action against environmental exploitation." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Advocacy & Education for Systemic Indigenous Challenges in Hawaii
For my project, I conducted research by interviewing local community leaders, published a report on my findings and presented my findings at various conferences to uplift and empower the voices of those historically neglected and systemically sidelined in Hawaii.
