Millennium Fellowship Project: The DreamGirl Project
The DreamGirl Project was aimed at reaching out to girls in 4 secondary schools in my local community to talk to them about career choices, self development, menstrual hygiene, reproductive health as well as self breast examination to detect changes in breast contour to make the breast cancer awareness month. We were accompanied by the President of the Medical Women Association of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State Branch as well as the Welfare Chairman of the association.
About the Millennium Fellow
Divine Nwobodo is a 400 level medical student in the University of Uyo. She was born in Nigeria where she currently resides. Divine is very passionate about child health and good wellbeing.
Her passion and fervor in pursuit of this have been translated in her unrelentless participations in various health organizations and initiatives like the Oasis Initiative , the Standing Committee on Public Health(NIMSA), and University of Uyo Public Health Team. These organizations have helped her contribute in her own way to the SDG3- good health and wellbeing.
With her project, she aims to leave a lasting impact on child health and general wellbeing as her contrIbution to the society and the world at large.
