Millennium Fellowship Project: The DreamGirl Project

The DreamGirl Project is dedicated to empowering secondary school girls in our local community. Through our outreach initiatives, we provide guidance on career choices, self-development, and reproductive health, while also raising awareness about breast cancer. Our impact is further enhanced through our collaboration with the Medical Women Association of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State Branch.

About the Millennium Fellow

Idongesit Ubon is a dedicated medical student at the University of Uyo, Nigeria, pursuing her passion for Medicine and Surgery. Born and raised in Nigeria, she has a strong interest in women's health, with a particular focus on mental health. Her personal experiences have shaped her deep empathy for others, driving her commitment to advocacy and care. Through active participation in medical outreaches, Idongesit is already making a positive impact in her community. As she progresses in her medical journey, she remains devoted to using her skills and knowledge to create meaningful change in the lives of women and girls.
