About the Millennium Fellow
Ofofon-ono Enefiok Ezekiel is a young, energetic final year medical student in the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Being born in Uyo into a family of health professionals, he had a dream of becoming a medical doctor and is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Medicine and Surgery(MB.BS). Having lived all his life in Uyo, he noticed the burden of deaths that plagued his community. On getting into medical school, he attended conferences and learnt about Public Health and how it could give him the platform to create awareness about the preventable causes of death in his city. This zeal earned him the Chairman, University of Uyo Medical Students Association(UUMSA) Public Health Team from where he moved on to become the Nigerian Medical Students Association(NiMSA) Technical Officer on Gender Based Violence and other Related Matters.
