" The inequalities and sustainability concerns of the modern world can only be solved through global cooperation and creative problem solving. I am thrilled to be involved in the Millennium Fellowship for 2024 as it will equip me and my peers with the knowledge and guidance to tackle sustainable development issues within our communities. I look forward to seeing how the solutions we implement create tangible and long-lasting impacts. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Reclaim & Revive
Reclaim & Revive is a project to combat inequalities created by overconsumption in the city of Perth. involves collecting and redistributing second-hand and unused goods from campus/students' homes, to local donation centers which give them to people living vulnerably. "Reclaim and Revive" will work with student clubs on campus to collect donatable goods from their events and inventories. The project also involves the organisation of virtual educational sessions to raise awareness for homelessness and rough living conditions in our city. This is also to build partnerships with interests groups and individuals, which can enhance donations.
