United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Cution The Earth

The project is on climate action. The first intent is to raise as much awareness as possible on the subject. The secondary intend is to mitigate by planting trees in public places, particularly fruit trees to create food security as well.

About the Millennium Fellow

Genius Sirdar Mucheti is a 22 year old law student at the University of Zimbabwe. He works part-time for Alberts Literature, a publishing house. Genius loves creating innovative solutions to legal problems, bringing lasting solutions, an opportunity which he gets at the law firm during the vacations. Genius also likes to be on his feet, assisting his country in bringing lasting solutions to community problems in line with the United Nations SDG goals. Genius influences the writing of fiction and poetry on prevalent issues such as climate change. He is actively involved in social advocacy and community development.
