United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Go Green Go

This project is aimed towards improving our environment by creating a safer and cleaner environment in our community through teamwork and collaboration between local residents . It is mainly focused around building a strong mindsetin people to maintain a cleaeer environment which in turn will benefit them

About the Millennium Fellow

Mary Mashoko is a 20 year old student at the University of Zimbabwe where she is currently majoring in mechanical engineering. She was born in a small town in masvingo in Zimbabwe nad that is where she currently resides at. Mary has always been passionate about the environment for as long as i have known her. Growing up in a small town she was involved in climate campaigns , clean up campaigns because she believes that everyone has a role to play inorder to preserve our environment and now with the help of Millennium Fellowship she hopes to make a bigger impact.
