Millennium Fellowship Project: Priority 101: Young Girls

The project "Priority 101: Young Girls" aims to educate girls who are still minors (aged 17 years and younger) on matters of Statutory rape. Planned initiatives are to create awareness on what is statutory rape, people who are likely to commit violations, the appropriate course of action to take if having been victimised and precautionary measures to guard against Statutory rape.

About the Millennium Fellow

Tinotenda Chitauro is a promising young man currently pursuing his undergraduate degree program at the University of Zimbabwe. Born and bred in Kwekwe, a city in the Midlands Province of Zimbabwe, he temporarily relocated to the capital Harare to pursue his studies.
Enrolling under the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences has directly assisted him with his passion to advocate on the rights of women, particularly young girls who frequently fall victim to predators willingly initiating violations upon them, knowing well enough that they cannot consent to the reality of such matters.
