Millennium Fellowship Project: Menstrual Hygiene Awareness

MENSTRUAL HEALTH EDUCATION WORKSHOP is a one day workshop which is going to teach menstrual and proper hygienic practices to 250 female students across Potiskum local government Area of Yobe state. Five schools will be selected, where selected students (from JSS-SS class) will be given training on menstrual education/management and proper hygienic practices with selection of disposable sanitary pads and at the end of the training disposable sanitary pads will be given to each and every student

About the Millennium Fellow

Maryam Saleh Isah is a vibrant, young leader, activist and educationist . A bonafide Indigene of Yobe State Nigeria, studying Education and English at Yobe State University Damaturu. In quenching her thirst of building a community where Education opportunities offer, left no one behind, has pave her the way to engage and organize campaigns on promoting Girls' Child Education. During her NCE days she engaged into students unionism which shaped her experience in leadership landscape.
