Millennium Fellowship Project: Zero_ Waste Mavericks

Zero-Waste Mavericks (Z.W.M.) is my independent initiative addressing responsible consumption and production (SDG 12) within the Addis Ababa University community and among high school students. Over the past 13 weeks, my project has been empowering individuals to adopt zero-waste lifestyles. I have successfully hosted one educational webinar and, through this and other direct engagements, I have reached approximately 100-149 individuals. My overall fellowship goal is to expand this reach to at least 500 individuals and distribute 100 digital "Zero-Waste Starter Kits," through a series of online educational webinars, DIY workshops for eco-friendly alternatives, and roundtable discussions with local sustainability advocates, thereby fostering a culture of sustainability.
