" My commitment to public health is fueled by the belief that a community's well-being is its greatest asset. I am where I am today because of the support of my community, and I am driven to pay that forward. I do the work I do to ensure that every person, regardless of their socioeconomic status, has the opportunity to lead a healthy and fulfilling life. As a Millennium Fellow, I am excited to connect with like-minded leaders and amplify our collective impact, turning aspirations of health equity into tangible realities for underserved communities across Ethiopia. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Yetena Birhan

It is a project that aims to provide access to healthcare to underserved communities in Addis Ababa. It aims to accomplish this through a myriad of means. One is by collecting donations and giving them to those who desperately need them in our community, the second is by providing free health screening to those who either are too far away from health centers, can't physically go to the health centers or those who can't afford to pay for some of the services at government and private health centers.
