United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: MentalEdge Campus

MentalEdge Campus is a student-led Millennium Fellowship initiative designed to
integrate mental health support with academic excellence, directly addressing
Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and 4 (Quality
Education). The project tackles the common challenges faced by university
students—such as academic pressure, emotional stress, and limited mental health
awareness—by providing peer-led, evidence-based programs that build resilience and
foster success in both personal and academic domains.
MentalEdge Campus strives to create a lasting culture where mental well-being is
fundamental to academic achievement, empowering students to lead with resilience
and compassion.

About the Millennium Fellow

Samuel Andargieis a dedicated medical student at Addis Ababa University, I was born in Ethiopia and resides here .. With a strong foundation in medical sciences a deep passion for sustainable development and community empowerment. He excels in synthesizing complex medical concepts and applying them to real-world challenges. His commitment to academic excellence is matched by his drive to empower communities through education and innovation. is leadership skills were further honed through his role as the president of his university's Environmental Club, where he successfully organized several impactful campus-wide recycling drives and educational workshops. As a Millennium Fellow, he aims to amplify his impact by fostering equitable healthcare solutions and inspiring others to lead with purpose and compassion.
