Millennium Fellowship Project: CLEAN HANDS,HEALTHY LIFE
Clean Hands, Healthy Life” is a public health initiative aimed at promoting proper hand hygiene practices to prevent the spread of infections. The project educates individuals and communities on the importance of regular handwashing with soap and clean water to improve overall health and well-being. About the Millennium Fellow
Afoma Josefa Nebolisa is passionate and determined final year medical student at Afe Babalola University, Nigeria. She was born in Lagos, Nigeria and resides in Lagos with her family. Since starting her journey as a medical student, she has developed a strong interest in advocating for the proper education of women and children on social and health issues. This drive has led Afoma to join a number of organizations where she has had the opportunity to learn how to properly educate women on their rights and health. She has also organized educational events for children. Afoma aspires to do more work with regards to providing proper education and healthcare services to individuals in underprivileged communities in her country and hopes to gain more experience to make this goal possible. She is looking forward to, as much as possible, contributing greatly in the development of the United Nations Sustainable Goals.
