Project Title: BrightHer-LifeSavers Initiative
Project Focus: Empowering women and girls through Health, Literacy, and Human Rights and Empowering Individuals with Life Saving Skills(CPR)
Project Overview
The BrightHer-LifeSavers Initiative aims to promote women’s health and empowerment through:
• Health Education: Menstrual hygiene, adequate nutrition, reproductive care, and maternal and child health.
• Life-Saving Skills: Training participants in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and other basic emergency response techniques.
Through these activities, we were able to advance Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3, 4, and 5 — Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, and Gender Equality.
About the Millennium Fellow
SHE IYALLA MIEBAKA FAVOUR IS A 22 years old motivated medical student. She is overzealous, ready to learn and very hard working, she believes life doesn't just come easy and is ready for every challenge that life throws at you
She is a 5th year medical student of Afe babalola university, ready to face the world and her dreams.
She is the 3rd of 6 sibling of her family and the only medical personnel in her family.
Being a medical student has shaped her life in so many ways and she is also ready to do more challenging task.
Not only is she dreaming of being a medical student, she also wishes to achieve more dreams, bring change to Nigeria and the country at large. She believes in inspiring people and has her role models like NELSON MANDELA. She is also working class coordinator who gets everything done the right way. With that I have given a brief introduction of who Iyalla Miebaka Favour is.
