United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: CLEAN HANDS,HEALTHY LIFE

Clean Hands, Healthy Life” is a public health initiative aimed at promoting proper hand hygiene practices to prevent the spread of infections. The project educates individuals and communities on the importance of regular handwashing with soap and clean water to improve overall health and well-being. About the Millennium Fellow

Gajere Martha is Final year Medical student of Afe Babalola University Ado Ekiti (ABUAD), Ekiti state. She is from Gombe state in Nigeria.
She is passionate about healthcare, advocacy and leadership. She has taken up various leadership roles like the National Programs teams member in 2023 and also Technical Officer on Gender Based violence for Standing Committee on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights 2024. She has also been a mentor in the ABUAD Medical Students from 2023 till date.
In her leisure, she enjoys to play volleyball, braid and style hair and also engaging in meaningful conversations.
