" Compassion, empathy, and the personal and critical learning experience gained from asthma misdiagnosis for panic attacks drive my understanding of the importance of accessible mental health resources which highlights nuanced comprehension at the center of respiratory care. What does this mean?
I am driven to promote awareness on the interconnectedness between mental health and respiratory defects and reduce stigma around mental illness. The Millennium Fellowship is a rare opportunity to amplify my impact while joining a network of individuals who share the same passion as me in social impact. I am excited and look forward to contributing to the realization of this vision to make an effective difference within my community. "
