It would give me the opportunity to amplify conversations around mental health among medical students as I believe a helathy mind is the foundation for learning, thriving and ultimately serving humanity. It would also contribute greatly to the United Nations Sustainable Development Gols particularly SDG3(Goodhealth and well-being) by promoting mental health awareness and advocacy and SDG4(Quality education) by recognizing that the mental resilience of students ts directly impacts their academic success. Toluwani Badmus is a 5th year medical student at Afe Babalola University ado-ekiti(ABUAD). She is a Nigerian who is passionate about medicine, leadership, social impact and most importantly mental health awareness and advocacy amongst medical students. Throughout her journey in medical she realized that the path to becoming a doctor is physically, emotionally, mentally and academically tasking and has over the years observed its impact on not just herself, but also her classmates.
