" "A problem becomes easier to solve when it is well understood. I am on a mission to contribute a significant quota in restoring the integrity of our planet by getting people to imbibe healthier and more sustainable practices. However, this is a complex problem and without a clear understanding of its current status and the global interventions that are been made,I may be working against the tide. So, I am very excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I believe I will gain the clarity that I need and that my raw ideas will be refined into more effective solutions to the problems that I am set to address starting from my immediate community". Millennium Fellowship Project: Save The Lungs in The Husk

Save the Lungs in the Husk is a group project led by Millennium Fellow Ebenyi Hyacinth Chibuike. The mission of the project between August-December 2025 is to: 1.Educate the women on the risks of the exposure and protective measures they can take to protect their airways.
2. Draw support from government agencies and organizations to empower them through the provision of PPEs.
3. Discuss with Ricemill authorities, relevant policies adjustments that can be made to ensure sustainable occupational health for those women.
