United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Amoah Ecofarm Alliance

This is a small snail tomato black-eyed bean and snail farm targeted at the West African community and as well as animal feed and beauty companies for the snail slime and shell. our goal is to encourage eco-friendly and sustainable farming. The black-eyed beans and snail itself will be used for consumption and sold to West Africans and West African restaurants in Kigali as. Because of its rich calcium content, the shell will be sold to livestock feed companies and the slime will be marketed to hair and beauty brand companies and exported. the tomatoes will be sold to students at affordable rates, and whatever is not sold or is not of good quality will be given to the snails for feed as they are natural decomposers

About the Millennium Fellow

Nana Asi Amoah is currently a student at The African Leadership University in Rwanda, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership with a strong passion for agriculture, circular farming, and sustainable systems. A dedicated Pan-Africanist, she believes that education is the foundation for long-lasting change on the continent and champions the value of African institutions. Alongside her agricultural vision, she is deeply interested in politics and is committed to advancing African-led solutions. She aspires to drive sustainable agrarian transformation while nurturing leadership and development within Africa.
