"
Millennium Fellowship Project: SHULE SAFE SPACE
Shule Safe Space aims to bring mental health support to high school students in rural communities. Inspired by my own experiences and witnessing struggles with anxiety, witnessing suicide due to lack of resources and stress. This project will develop a flexible mental wellness program. It will help in building the foundation of a high school mental wellness club we had back in school. Shule Safe Space will ensure that students in undeserved areas have the support they need and also provide the mental health accessible tools and normalize mental health conversations by having counselors available to help them deal with stress and other challenges.
