" I care deeply about creating positive change in my community, especially through education and innovation. I'm excited to join the Millennium Fellowship because it’s a chance to learn, grow, and work alongside others who are just as passionate about making a difference. I know this experience will help me turn my ideas into real impact, aligned with the SDGs. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Enjoy Your Periods

I want to work on a project which I think is very basic and can play a significant role in making our life much easier to go. I need to introduce a policy where each girl will have the freedom to enjoy their periods in their own way. They don’t need to come to University for attending classes or offices to work. I think those 3-5 days are very sensitive yet crucial for every girl. Many of us have extremely painful periods and we don’t want to come to University but most of the times we have to push ourselves for the sake of clearing exams or submission of assignments. So, I want 3 days leave which will be allocated for each female student or employee in our University. Because I think University should be the first place to begin with positive changes. My project will aim to aware everyone to make this policy accepted. By this law, every girl can be a free bird and do whatever they want to do on their periods. This is not Just about physical comfort but also emotional and physiological demand from a girl's view.
