Millennium Fellowship Project: Erased Voices (Discrimination)

“Erased Voices” is my individual initiative focused on raising awareness about the discrimination, cultural erasure, and gender-based injustices faced by Indigenous communities and women. As an Indigenous girl myself, I have experienced these inequalities firsthand, which inspired me to speak up and support others who face similar challenges. Since creating large-scale change alone is difficult, I collaborate with organizations—joining campaigns, attending workshops, and using social media—to amplify marginalized voices and educate people who may not know about our community. Through storytelling, youth engagement, and advocacy, my initiative works to preserve cultural identity, challenge harmful stereotypes, and promote justice. The goal is to reduce prejudice, encourage inclusion, and inspire people to value and protect Indigenous rights.
