Millennium Fellowship Project: Empower Her
Empower HER is a creative and community-focused project led by the Women Empowerment Club. It aims to uplift and inspire women through interactive events that blend art, nature, and storytelling. One of our key events, Her Story: Women and Mother Nature, brought students together to explore the deep connection between women and the environment through hands-on workshops like water marbling and terrarium making. By celebrating resilience, creativity, and sisterhood, our project builds a supportive space where women can connect, express themselves, and grow into change makers.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sulochana Aryal is from Nepal currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in public Health at Asian University for women. Her family lived in a rural location and she witnessed the issues of poor medical care, gender inequality, and education. Such experiences make her work toward women empowerment, education, and community health. She is a club leader in the Women Empowerment Club in her university and conducts projects that initiate actual change. Sulochana aspires to create sustainable solutions to marginalized groups and work on the global stage to achieve lasting solutions in support of the United Nations goals of attaining Sustainable Development Goals.
