" I aspire to grow as a leader globally. Millennium Fellowship is one of the places where I can improve my social skills, networking, and management skills. This is a platform where my voice and creative ideas will be heard. It is a huge opportunity to dedicate my enthusiasm to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In short, to leave a long-lasting mark on my society, I am so excited to be a Millennium Fellow. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Therapeutic Music for Mental Wellness

So this is a project I am planning to start where music will be a therapy for mental wellness. In our university, students are struggling with academic, personal and social stress. I believe that this project will be a stress relief thing for them. I am connected with music since my childhood so somehow I understand how it calm down our body and soul. As a current president of AUW Bangla Music Club, I want to take this initiative so that students in my university can have a safe and relaxed space. However, there are some creative students who might be interested in songwriting, but shy to do it. I want to create a comfortable and nonjudgmental zone for them. Music is used as a relaxation tool since long time ago but in our country it's very rare. I believe that this project will be loved by most of the students because who else doesn't love music? I want to create Jam sessions where students can freely listen to music, play instruments, karaoke nights according to their own choice. Although I noticed how concerts with friends actually helps to reduce stress. So this is how I am imagining my project.
