" Growing up, I had a front-row seat to watch how climate change reshapes lives and livelihoods. My work is driven by a commitment to amplify the voices of coastal communities and push for equitable, sustainable solutions. I believe the Millennium Fellowship will strengthen my ability to turn research and storytelling into actionable change aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainability Initiatives @APU

Our project is an initiative to replace plastic packaged food items from our cafeterias on campus with sustainably packaged items. This initiative is to essentially reduce packaging plastic waste generated on our campus, and also spread awareness about the harmful effects of plastic on our environment, and the importance of sustainable packaging.
