Millennium Fellowship Project: Eco Equity

The project aims at bridging the gap from climate inequity. Through a survey we found the most common equity problem- waste management. By working with Hasiru Dala an organization we are trying to track waste management and also track waste segregation.
Through the project, we tracked waste collection and segregation by distributing QR codes for households. Additionally, we educated villagers door-to-door about the consequences of waste burning. Water scarcity also emerged as a concern, and we plan to monitor the implementation of a new government scheme providing steady tap water in the coming months.
