" My work is driven by a deep belief that economics can be a tool for equity, not just efficiency. Through research on rural employment, political economy, and economic history, I strive to connect data with lived realities, amplifying voices often unheard in policy spaces. The Millennium Fellowship offers a platform to refine my skills, collaborate with diverse change makers, and align my efforts with the SDGs,transforming my vision for inclusive growth into tangible impact. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Rethinking Access to Quality Education
This project focuses on SDG 4: Quality Education and looks at the difficulties underprivileged and migrant children in India face while accessing education. Many children struggle due to language barriers, lack of proper documentation, poor nutrition, and unsafe surroundings, which affects their learning. The project moves beyond identifying problems and focuses on possible solutions, especially the role of the state and local nonprofits in supporting inclusive and better educational access.
