Millennium Fellowship Project: An Outreach Pregnant Women
Pregnant women are at increased risk of health conditions such as urinary tract infections (UTIs), preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and proteinuria, all of which can be detected early through routine urinalysis. In many underserved communities, women face barriers such as cost, distance to healthcare facilities, and lack of awareness, leading to late diagnosis and preventable complications.
This outreach program aims to bridge this gap by bringing essential screening services directly to pregnant women in the community.
