" I am very open to learning and improving my competence as an individual. I am certain that being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will enhance my ability to be more creative, adapt adequately to similar systems such as this and further align myself with the UNAI principles and SDGs. I am very excited and I look forward to meeting and working with other creatives. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Rebelle

“Rebelle” is the French word for “Rebel” and the fact that it has a stylish and feminine feel to it makes it the perfect name for this project. A rebel refuses allegiance to or resists authority, control, traditions or an established government. I want something that encourages women to do just that, except in this case, the “authority” is the system that has oppressed women for years and still does. I simply want better for women and I want to build something that is targeted at fighting every form of oppression women face daily. The goal of this project is to make women’s voices heard, encourage women to rise above their challenges in today’s world, fight against harmful gender stereotypes and change the average person’s mindset of seeing women as less.
