Millennium Fellowship Project: SickleCare Initiative
The SickleCare Initiative is Initiative is a project dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals living with sickle cell anemia. It emphasizes on raising awareness, providing education,curbing the spread, breaking the stigma and enhancing patient support through community outreach, advocacy and healthcare collaboration. The initiative aims to empower patients, reduce complications and foster a stronger support network for those affected by this condition. It focuses mainly on SDG 3
About the Millennium Fellow
Uturu Gift is a 5th year medical student of Babcock University, a Nigerian from Abia State who is passionate about making impact and giving back to the society . She has come to brighten the world and put the world on a larger scale by ensuring people's lives are made easier . She is here to give her contribution to the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals by working a project that would majorly tackle The Sickle Cell Anemia , curbing the spread, and ensuring those already with the disease live a better and comfortable life.
