" "Equity and sustainability drive my passion for public health. I believe every child deserves a healthy future, free from preventable diseases and inequities. The Millennium Fellowship will provide me with the platform to strengthen my leadership, collaborate with global change makers, and scale initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. I am excited to learn, share, and contribute towards building resilient communities where health, dignity, and justice are accessible to all." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Seeds of Change

Our project, Creative Seeds of Change, aims to educate primary school children from marginalized communities on climate awareness and sustainable ethics through fun, weekly workshops. These sessions include engaging games, quizzes, and drawing activities where children make personal pledges, followed by short seminars on simple, eco-friendly habits they can practice in daily life. To encourage participation and retention, quizzes are rewarded with small incentives such as toys and chocolates. The project is led by young university students as emerging leaders and is supported through funding from local communities and corporations, with the goal of creating long-term environmental impact and inclusive participation.

The project primarily serves religious minorities, especially marginalized Christian communities in Islamabad. It focuses on younger children up to the age of 14 who often lack access to quality education and structured learning opportunities.

During the Millennium Fellowship, which ran from August to December 2025, Creative Seeds of Change made meaningful progress in empowering primary school children from these communities with basic climate knowledge and sustainable values through interactive and age-appropriate workshops.
