" I'm Kainat Rasheed, and I've always believed that our generation holds more power than we realize not just in our voices, but in our choices, our values, and the actions we take every day. Over the years, I've had the privileged to grow as a youth leader, representing not only myself but the hopes, concerns, and dreams of thousands of young Pakistanis. As Vice-chairperson of Youth Organization Pakistan (YOP), I've worked alongside passionate change makers, advocating for Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. My journey has taken me from global platforms to peace leadership programs in South Korea, where I've learned and shared with youth leaders from around the world.Along that I m from the top 50 delegates around the world at Green Summit Jakarta, Indonesia . I m honored to represent Pakistan as an young Asia Pacific Leaders.
Through these experiences, one truth became clear: our education system needs to do more. Not just more science, more textbooks, or more degrees, but more relevance. We need learning that’s rooted in real-world challenges, that inspires students to protect what truly matters: our environment, our communities, our shared future
I'm raising my voice for a modern, SDG-aligned education system in Pakistan, one that treats environmental awareness not as an afterthought, but as a foundation. We need a system where every student, no matter where they live, learns how their choices impact the world around them. A system that empowers them not just to care, but to act to innovate, to advocate, and to protect the resources we all depend on. My vision goes beyond policy change. It’s about people change. It’s about weaving environmental education into every stage of learning, from early years to higher education. It’s about bringing real-world issues into classrooms, launching innovation labs focused on sustainability, encouraging student-led community projects, and turning knowledge into meaningful action.
From advocating for peace to championing a greener future, my mission has evolved ,but my belief remains the same: young people have the power to change the
world. And I truly believe that the future of Pakistan.its environment, its communities, and its promise, rests in the hands of educated, inspired youth. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Pax Youth

Pax Youth is a digital youth-led platform built on the belief that real change begins with young voices. Aligned with SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, it uses creative storytelling and impactful monologues to challenge, renew, and reshape how society thinks about peace and justice.
Our mission is to inspire and empower young people, especially in pre-conflict settings, where early conversations and collective actions can prevent violence before it begins. Starting in Pakistan and expanding globally, Pax Youth serves as a digital space for youth dialogue, storytelling, and leadership development.
At Pax Youth, we're not just talking about change — were cultivating a generation ready to lead it. Through digital storytelling, fellowships, and youth engagement, Pax Youth transforms words into meaningful impact.
