Millennium Fellowship Project: Seeds of Change

Seeds of Change is a youth-led initiative that works with marginalized communities, focusing on children between the ages of 5 and 13 years, with a special emphasis on girls. The project empowers these children through climate education and hands-on activities such as climate-related drawings, lectures on climate ethics, ocean awareness, tree plantations, and clean-up drives.
The name Seeds of Change reflects the vision of nurturing young minds today so they can grow into future leaders who follow climate ethics and create long-term positive change in society. Each member of the project contributes their own ideas, making it diverse and innovative—for example, activities related to oceans or other specific climate concerns. The project involves organizing community-driven tree-planting drives and interactive workshops to raise awareness about sustainable practices. It empowers individuals, especially youth, to take small but meaningful actions to protect the environment and create a healthier, greener future for their communities.
The initiative aligns with six Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 4 SDG 5 SDG 10 SDG 11 SDG 13
SDG 17 In essence, Seeds of Change equips marginalized children, especially girls, with awareness, skills, and values to become future change-makers for a sustainable and inclusive world.
