United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Improving Higher Education Access in Waco

The Improving Higher Education Access in Waco initiative partnered with AVID, an international program focused on providing college education prep to students with limited resources. Fellows each mentored two middle or high school students in the Waco community on what college looks like, how to succeed in college, fellows delivered presentations to over 8 local schools. and hosted an on-campus college day where students aged 12-17 came to Baylor University for a day, attended classes, and engaged in classroom activities.

About the Millennium Fellow

Annabella Banjo is a student at Baylor University, pursuing a degree in International Studies on a pre-veterinary track. Passionate about both global affairs and animal care, she aims to combine her interests to make a meaningful impact in the world. Annabella is known for her strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to service. Her academic journey reflects a unique blend of compassion, ambition, and a global perspective.
