ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2025

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

" Through the Millennium Fellows program, I will have the opportunity to impact my community in a deeper and more meaningful way that will hopefully increase access to resources for children pursuing a college education and their families. The Millennium Fellows program has brought together a group of like-minded individuals who are share a common goal of helping others through service and I have already learned so much from this diverse group. I can't wait to see the impact we make on the community and with each other as well. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Improving Higher Education Access in Waco

The Improving Higher Education Access in Waco initiative partnered with AVID, an international program focused on providing college education prep to students with limited resources. Fellows each mentored two middle or high school students in the Waco community on what college looks like, how to succeed in college, fellows delivered presentations to over 8 local schools. and hosted an on-campus college day where students aged 12-17 came to Baylor University for a day, attended classes, and engaged in classroom activities.

About the Millennium Fellow

Claire Joseph is a dedicated and kind rising junior this academic year studying business on the pre-medical track at Baylor University with hopes to serve others in the medical field. While Claire is very passionate about the medical field, she is also incredible passionate about community development work and working to combat poverty and social determinants of health through sustainable service initiatives. Claire has worked with many nonprofit organizations throughout her high school and college career and thus has been a part of this work firsthand. She is extremely excited to continue learning more about the transformational work that is being done across the globe as well as participate in new strides for change through her work with the Millennium Fellows program!
