Millennium Fellowship Project: Voices of Vision

Voices of Vision is about sharing real-life stories from people connected to the Bentley Service Learning and Civic Engagement Center (BSLCE). We strive to hear from students, community members, faculty, and alumni about their experiences and what drives them to get involved. By capturing these personal journeys, we hope to spark understanding and bring people together during times when conversations can feel divided. At the BSLCE, students gain hands-on experience by working on projects with local and international organizations. These experiences, from classroom initiatives to local volunteering, offers unique insights into how service and learning work together. We plan to gather these authentic narratives and present them on an easy-to-navigate website and in a printed guide, both crafted to highlight diverse viewpoints. To celebrate the launch, we’ll host an event featuring artwork inspired by the stories and talks from several storytellers. Our goal is to create a platform that not only showcases these voices but also encourages open, respectful dialogue. This project aims to deepen community ties and promote empathy by sharing a rich collection of experiences that reflect the true spirit of service and learning at Bentley.
