UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT KATHRYN MARIE ROSE, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2025.
Bentley University | Massachusetts, United States | Advancing SDG 17 & UNAI 7

" As a lifelong learner, I am driven by a desire to broaden my perspective through the experiences and insights of others. As a Millennium Fellow, I am eager to collaborate with peers on my campus to advance our community initiatives, while also engaging with scholars worldwide to understand the diverse missions and motivations that guide their projects. I hope to carry these lessons forward to strengthen my leadership, deepen my commitment to service, and become a more effective catalyst for positive change. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Voices of Vision
Voices of Vision seeks to provide a platform to connect individuals linked to the Bentley Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Center (BSLCE) in some way by providing a platform to share their stories and knowledge in a way that feels authentic to them. The BSLCE community is composed of countless wonderful people who contribute to the organization in unique ways. Some of these are students, including volunteers, managers of service programs, and behind-the-scenes helpers. Many other contributors are Bentley staff, both those at the center and professors. Community partners also play a tremendous role in the function of the BSLCE. The center connects people with different skill sets, but there is not a platform currently available that makes communication accessible. Voices of Vision would work to create a webpage that connects these facets of the BSLCE by providing a space to share ideas and perspectives as well as request support. There would be an in-person launch to celebrate and provide an opportunity to bring the BSCLE community together in person, and potentially, a print resource commemorating some of the visions contributed to the project to provide a visual display of the community's connection.
