" I'm eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals to make a meaningful impact on the world we share. The skills I gain from the Millennium Fellowship will help me empower teenagers in lower-income schools by strengthening advocacy efforts and educating students about their rights. Especially during this challenging time in our democracy. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: WellWorld

WellWorld: A Personalized Path to Holistic Well-Being
Growing up in a culturally diverse yet underserved community, I saw how stigma, inequities, and limited resources prevented open conversations about health. This inspired me to launch WellWorld, a website designed to make well-being more accessible, inclusive, and sustainable for people from all backgrounds. Building on ideas from my earlier work with the Credible Mind Mood Tracker, WellWorld takes a broader, user-centered approach by recognizing that health is multidimensional—shaped not only by mental and physical wellness but also by education, poverty, equity, and the environment.
The website functions as a personalized resource hub, adapting to each user’s needs, identity, and context. Through demographic and location-based filters, users receive tailored recommendations that highlight both direct self-care strategies and the often-overlooked factors that influence health, such as education, financial stability, and environmental conditions. Depending on the state or country you are in, a list of relevant mental health laws will be provided, along with nonprofit organizations that focus on mental health for marginalized communities, to help inform the user. As users interact with the platform and provide feedback, WellWorld refines its future suggestions, creating an evolving space that grows with the user. By centering individual experiences while connecting them to broader global challenges, the platform empowers people to care for their well-being in ways that are holistic, relevant, and sustainable.
