" I believe law should serve people, not intimidate them. My passion lies in simplifying legal knowledge so that every person can understand and claim their rights. Being a Millennium Fellow excites me because it offers a global platform to strengthen my initiative, connect with change makers and expand my impact on justice, equality and inclusive policies. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Equitable Justice Initiative

The Equitable Justice Initiative (EqJI) is a student-led project committed to empowering young people through clear, accessible awareness on rights, health, digital safety, and social well-being. Guided by the belief that awareness is the foundation of justice, EqJI creates learning spaces where students can understand the challenges they face and build confidence to respond to them. Through workshops, interactive sessions, and follow-up support, the initiative has reached 150 students, including 80 girls, helping them strengthen their voice and agency. EqJI has also provided direct guidance to two young women in formally reporting digital violations, ensuring they could access proper protection mechanisms. The project’s impact lies in nurturing an informed, conscious, and responsible youth community that values equality, safety, and collective progress.
