BRAC University | Dhaka, Bangladesh | Advancing SDG 4, SDG 12 & UNAI 3

" Passion for creating equal access to education drives my work and vision. I believe every child holds immense potential and with the right resources, mentorship and encouragement, they can achieve far more than the world expects. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship will strengthen my ability to expand the Book Reuse Hub, enabling more underserved students to access learning materials and pursue their ambitions. The skills and networks I gain will help me align my efforts with the UNAI principles and SDGs, empowering me to nurture the next generation of change makers. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Admission Book Sharing Hub
The Admission Book Sharing Hub is a student-driven initiative designed to support financially struggling admission test candidates by giving them temporary access to essential admission preparation books. Many students need these books for only a short period but cannot afford to buy them, and this project ensures they are not left behind due to financial limitations.
The project collects used admission preparation books from donors, seniors, and volunteers. These books are then organized through a simple inventory system and made available for borrowing at a small refundable deposit. Students can use the books during the 4–6 month admission preparation period and return them afterward, ensuring continuous resource availability through a book exchange model.
By promoting accessibility, affordability, and sustainability, the Admission Book Sharing Hub reduces educational inequality and encourages the reuse of learning materials. The initiative also raises awareness through social media and motivates students to donate books after completing their admission journey.
