Millennium Fellowship Project: Africa to You

Project ATY or Africa To You is a student-led movement to demystify the complex, colourful and diverse African continent with a mission to educate individuals across the world about the underrepresented norms, practices, cultures and places on the continent. We set out to address the common misconception of Africa as ‘a homogenous country and not a heterogenous continent’. We believe that in granting people exposure and insights to these parts of Africa which do not usually make mainstream media we will be able to help advance SDG 4 of Quality Education. By creating resources like informational flyers and posters, we hope to make a tangible impact in how people related to the African continent.
