" Being a Millennium Fellow gives me a platform to turn my passion for social change into tangible action. I'm driven by the belief that a better future is not something we wait for, but something we actively build together, one community at a time. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Young Steamer

In my community, there is a high rate of out-of-school children, which has increased the rate of sexual and gender-based violence. With the help of this Millennium Fellowship program, I was able to improve the well-being of young children, including girls and women in my community.
By using the STEAMER strategy, I was able to introduce them to different skill set, including science, technology, engineering, arts, and sdgs.
