Millennium Fellowship Project: Digital Access for All
Project Introduction:
Digital Access for All is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow, Ahmad Muhammad Salisu. The project seeks to bridge the digital divide by empowering underserved students in Kano with digital literacy skills and access to learning tools. It addresses SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by promoting inclusive and equitable digital education.
Goals (August–December 2025):
- Organize 4 weekend digital literacy workshops for secondary school students in rural or low-income communities. - Collaborate with at least 2 local NGOs or schools to reach the target audience. - Distribute basic learning resources (ebooks, USB drives, or offline apps) to 100+ students. - Conduct pre- and post-program surveys to measure improvement in digital skills. - Raise awareness online through social media campaigns, targeting 500+ engagements.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ahmad Muhammad Salisu is a bright young Nigerian with a history of computer science. Though studying Computer Science, Ahmad also discovered the leadership. With several workshops and seminars attended, Ahmad has initiated and implemented many projects in his community. He is a community champion of change and a founder of AgriSeal, an initiative aimed at revolutionizing agricultural landscape in Nigeria.
