Millennium Fellowship Project: Project SAFE(Sustainable Affordable Fresh Water & Energy)
Project SAFE fosters clean water and renewable energy while reducing plastic pollution. The project creates awareness on how waste affects our water, environment, marine life, and inspires recycling and sustainable practices. We engaged students through a webinar, class visits and social media content. We also organized a plastic collection activity that helped reduce waste entering drainage channels. Overall, we were able achieve our main goal of educating students and promoting simple recycling habits.
