Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainpedia
Our project name is "Sustainpedia". It's a project which is based on publication about sustainable development and environmental concern of my country and all over the world. In my project our main goal is to reach the people and create awareness and send the message of sustainable environment. We have already a Facebook page to reach people. In this project we will publish Leaflet ( for Adult people) and comics (for child) to create awareness and also work for advocacy. Our goal is not only talk about the problems but also find a sustainable solution of them. We will focus on water, water quality issues and development, Light pollution, sound pollution, soil pollution etc. We will work to find the solution of those problem and will publish in our social media page, Leaflet and comics. By creating attractive graphics and student friendly content we will success to grow up.
About the Millennium Fellow
Meher Afroz is a Bangladeshi sparkling, youthful and sincere undergrad student. She was born in Chattogram, Bangladesh. Currently she is doing honours in Environmental Science at Bangladesh University of Professionals. She likes to do cooking, and gardening. From her childhood, she visited various areas of Bangladesh and the rhythm, interactions, changes catched her so much that make her to think of it. She used to watch discovery, animal planet channels that also used to amazed her. As now she is studying environmental science, she learned more about environment, our atmosphere, water, land and knew the challenges, dilemma upon our environment, she wants to do something innovative and long term steps that will help to minimize these crisis building an sustainable solution.
